About the Painting
Garr has a soft spot for this particular flower – the Bird of Paradise (or Aves del Paraíso in Spanish). Its unique, complex, and extraordinarily beautiful flower resembles the bird that is also called “the Bird of Paradise” – where the male of the species has intricate and long multi-coloured plumage extending from the head, beak, tails, and wings.
Garr has always marvelled at the beauty that can be found around us in nature. In this case, a double-whammy from both the plant and bird kingdoms!
